Spain Conquer Europe ……..

The inevitable Spaniard side showed there quality of been the best side in Europe with a great performance by the young shall grow team to win the EURO 2008 final against Germany.

The Spanish side also made this glory without there known captain fantastic Raul Gonzalez. The grandpa coach Sir Luis Aragones , has been faced a lot of critics taking a group of young boys to the competition and living out the great Raul, from his team selection but he went on to the group stage, like a tornado willing to destroy everything on its path.

The Spanish last triumph at the European stage was 44 years ago, where they beat the then called Soviet Union at the finals. Ever since that time the Spanish have produced great players like Raul and many more but always denied at either the quarters or the semis they managed to reach the finals in the 80s but lost the cup to the host nation France.

It was said that the Spanish team beat the Germans well by dominating the match with several shots on goal while the Germans manage to have only a shot on goal due to the great defensive co-operation and understanding from the Spanish defenders like Sergio Ramos and the great central and hustling defenders like Carlos Puyol and Senna. This great defensive line was too much to face for the Germans and there over head traditional German game was all intercepted with the great performance of Casillas.

Both teams came into the match with the same number of goals (11) but Tores gave the Spanish the winner. Now we are rest assured that the Germans are dead and buried after a great come backs and game winners like the late minute winner against turkey but it was not to be against the destined Spanish side for the cup.
